The Summer of the Lexus Sedan at Stevinson Lexus of Lakewood

Lexus is known for the superior quality and performance of its luxury vehicles. But do you know what sets apart Lexus' high-quality, reliable luxury cars? Take a moment to get to know the Lexus sedan lineup and how each can serve you best, depending on the needs of you and your family.

The Lexus IS - est. 1998
Lexus has built some exotic-looking concept cars and the LFA supercar, but until the current-generation IS sedan launched in 2013, none of that standout styling translated to the Toyota luxury brand’s mainstream production models. The IS became a styling statement for Lexus, introducing design features that would find their way onto most of the automaker’s other models. For 2017, the IS gets a major facelift to keep its styling fresh.

With the IS, Lexus sought to create a genuine sports sedan that could go head to head with segment leaders like the BMW 3 Series and Audi A4. The IS manages to be suitably sporty, but with the level of refinement returning customers expect from Lexus.
As of late, Lexus has focused more on fun, performance, and style, and the 2017 Lexus GS is a testament to that. It’s as solid as any previous Lexus sedan but has a more soulful driving experience and a more dramatic design than its predecessors.
The GS stays true to the luxury mission of Lexus, but also offers a sporty character to entice enthusiastic driving. Not surprisingly, given that it is the luxury arm of Toyota, Lexus also offers a hybrid powertrain option in the GS, something that can’t be said of many of its competitors.

Over 25 years ago, the original Lexus LS showed that luxury cars don’t have to be a pain to own. Since then, Lexus has combined Toyota quality and reliability with performance, comfort, and technology to rival old-school luxury brands. That trend continues with the 2017 Lexus LS 460, a full-size sedan that represents the best of the brand. The Lexus LS 460 stays true to the original LS by offering extravagant luxury with the sensibility and value that parent company Toyota is known for. The impeccably crafted leather interior cradles you and your passengers in the utmost comfort while advanced technology, including the Lexus Remote Touch interface, provides a uniquely modern driving experience.
Lexus takes a different approach to entry-level luxury than most other automakers. In the IS, it offers what you might call a more traditional entry-level luxury sedan, a car that emphasizes sporty handling rather than comfort. But Lexus also offers the 2017 ES, which proves that luxury cars don’t have to be sporty. The ES offers a remarkably spacious interior, a more luxurious ride, and more standard equipment than most other cars in the segment.

Though this model has been discontinued in the United States, Stevinson Lexus of Lakewood currently has seven CT models on the lot. This sporty hatchback comes in a hybrid model as well, the CT 200h, which gets a hearty 43 city / 40 highway MPG.
